Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston on the historical drama series "Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". Additionally, she's known as the star of the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin, the daughter of a department store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her career acting at the age of seven. Her aunt who served as a nanny to actor Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin to get her a character in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". Following her graduation from Yale University she began to become serious about acting, landing roles on both the small screen and big. Martin is, in addition to being an actor, is also a skilled photographer and ballet dancer. Her sister who passed away of Lupus at age 19, led her to becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
